We value faith, community, service, youth, hospitality, and relationships across generations.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Grounded in Grace

We believe in Jesus Christ and seek to follow Him by loving God and loving our neighbors. As a United Methodist congregation, we are committed to growing in faith, serving with compassion, and sharing life together across generations.

We are rooted in the United Methodist tradition, guided by scripture, reason, tradition, and experience, and centered on God’s grace.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of church are you?

We are a United Methodist congregation rooted in historic Christian faith and shaped by the Wesleyan tradition. We love Jesus, value Scripture, and seek to live our faith through worship, service, and meaningful relationships.

Do I have to be Methodist to attend?

Not at all. Many of our members come from a variety of faith backgrounds. If you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or simply looking for a place to belong, you’re welcome to join us.

What is worship like?

Our Sunday service blends contemporary praise music and traditional hymns. You’ll experience Scripture readings, prayer, a sermon rooted in real life, and moments of reflection — all in a setting that is reverent but relaxed.

How involved are you in the community?

We host blood drives, support local schools, partner with relief efforts through UMCOR, provide scholarships for youth camps, and regularly open our building for community use. Serving our town is part of who we are.

What should I wear?

You’ll see everything from jeans to suits. Come as you are — you won’t feel out of place.

Is this a church for families?

Yes — and more. We are intentionally multigenerational. Children participate in worship, youth are active in leadership and service, and adults of all ages connect through fellowship and small groups. Many of our kids say they have “church grandparents” here.

Do you offer programs during the week?

Yes! Wednesday evenings are a cornerstone of our church life, including a community meal and programming for children and youth. We also host community-wide Vacation Bible School, mission opportunities, small groups, and special events throughout the year.

What does “Seeking, Serving, Sharing” mean?

It’s how we describe our mission. We seek Christ in worship and prayer, serve our community in tangible ways, and share life together across generations — around tables, in small groups, and in everyday moments.
